On Kanye West’s trip to Skid Row last evening (November 24), the rapper made a public declaration that God will bring him and his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian-West, together again.

Kardashian-West, who in February of this year filed for a divorce from her husband of six years, has been seen in recent times with comedian Pete Davidson, who is reportedly her new beau.

Now known as Ye, the 44-year-old rapper made a trip to L.A. Mission on Wednesday (November 24), to drop off 1,000 meals for Skid Row. Before his departure, the rapper shared words of encouragement and wisdom with the crowd which included a message about his crumbling marriage.

The rapper, who was clad in a black hat, black jacket, shades and a black leather glove, took the mic and addressed concerns about his wrongdoings as a husband and what God expects of all.

“The narrative that God wants, is for you to see that everything can be redeemed. In all these relationships we’ve made mistakes, I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband,” he said.

He called out the likes of media entities E, Hulu and Disney, insisting that he would be the one to direct the narrative of his family and not the aforementioned streaming services. The members of the crowd, who are not seen in the video, showed their support by applauding the rapper as he spoke.

“I am the priest of my home,” he repeatedly said. “I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So when I’m out the house, I got house right next to the house. I am doing everything to be right next to the situation… I’m tryna express this way in the most sane way possible, the most calm way possible, but I need to be back at home,” he declared, his voice quivering.

Ye’s comments come only a few days after Davidson was spotted having dinner with Kardashian-West. The American comedian was said to be sporting a hickey at the time.

The rapper said that, if the enemy can separate ‘Kimye’ (the nickname that was given to the couple a few years ago), that will influence millions of other families to believe that separation is okay.

“But when the Kingdom (God)… brings Kimye together, there’s gonna millions of families that are gonna be influenced and see that they can overcome the work of the separation of trauma that the devil that used to capitalise and keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store,” Ye said.
