Kanye West on Saturday (January 15), took to social media to express gratitude to Travis Scott for helping him to be present for his four-year-old’s birthday party.

West, while smiling in his car, explained that Scott shared with him the time and location for his fourth child’s birthday. It appears that, if it were not for Scott, West would not have been able to attend the party.

“Yo, I am so happy right now. I just came from Chi’s party and I just gotta shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and the time and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter,” West said.

West, in a previous Instagram Live video, claimed he reached out to Kim and other members of the family who were not willing to share with him the details of his daughter’s birthday celebration. In the same video, he went on to publicly wish his daughter a happy birthday while saying he was trying to be the best father he could be.

“I was not allowed to know where her party was. …Called Kim… . I got on the phone with Tristan. He said he asked Khloe. Won’t nobody give me the address to my daughter’s birthday party right now? “

After eventually attending the party, West said he was at first not allowed to enter, but got help from a member of the family.

“Kylie let me in, right when I got to the spot because the security stopped me once again when I got there.”

The Yeezy designer also shared how happy he was to see other members of the family with whom he was able to have conversations, and that everyone had a great time.

West, speaking in the one minute and 14 second video, thanked fans for their support and said that his children were his main focus now.

“I was really happy that I could be there for my children and I just wanna thank everybody for they support in this situation,” West said.

He continued: “You know… let me just calmly and legally take control of my narrative, people have difference [in] opinions on a lot of different things I do. But with this one, this is my main focus, my life centres around my children and I just had a great time today.”

Since the party, both West and Scott have been trending on Twitter, with some making fun of Scott’s actions.
