The 34-year-old’s career-high performance matched the record set last month by teammate James Harden, who also chipped in 28 points.
Nicolas Batum added 12 more, helping the Clippers ride a four-game winning streak, their best stretch of the season so far.
Over in Los Angeles, Luka Doncic and LeBron James powered the Lakers to a 125-101 win over the Sacramento Kings, snapping a three-game losing skid. Doncic drilled five three-pointers on his way to 34 points, while James scored 24 before leaving midway through the fourth quarter after a collision with Kings guard DeMar DeRozan.
The 40-year-old exited with 5:43 left on the clock.
