After another exciting day of high school track and field rivalry at the National Stadium, defending champions Kingston College and Edwin Allen are cruising into the finals of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Championship after topping the leaderboard for Day 4.

Kingston College has managed to secure its spot at the top of the scoreboard for yet another day with 190 points ahead of Jamaica College with 160 points and Calabar High School, with 95 points.

On the female’s side, Edwin Allen High School is going into Saturday’s finals with 147 points ahead of Hydel High School with 139.5 points and Holmwood Technical with 99 points.

Among the day’s highlight performances was, Torian Caven of Vere Technical, who secured the gold medal in class 1 High with a smashing 1.82 meter.

Kingston College’s Ainsley Campbell put his endurance to the test on Friday (March 4) to secure the gold medal in the 2000-meter steeplechase Open for Boys with a time of 6:18:80.
