Kingston College (KC) and Waterhouse FC’s defender Kvist Paul of Guyana had a successful stint at Queens Park Rangers, revealed his manager Odile Richards, founder of Richies and Royal Sports Management.

Paul, who was voted MVP of the 2024 Manning Cup won by KC, left the island last week for English Championship team Queens Park Rangers in the second tier of English football.

“He did great. They want him back in the Summer when the window opens,” Richards told OurToday.

Queens Park angers are sitting in 14th spot in the English Championship on 44 points from their 34 games inclusive of 11 wins, 11 draw and 12 defeats.

Richards, who represented KC in tracks and basketball, is the father of Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards who was signed by Chelsea last year.

Richards through his sports management company, brought Paul and Matrim Martin from Guyana to Jamaica and like a doting father he posted on his Instagram page.

“When I met you in Guyana two years ago you said to me that you just wanted the same chances as my son. Now you know what it’s like —  just keep doing the hard work and you will get there,” Richards wrote.

“You’re already making history for yourself so keep strong. I’m very proud of you. Never fail. I love the progress. Remember to always trust the process,” he added.
