Restaurants of Jamaica (ROJ) has continued expanding its KFC restaurant network, bringing its world-famous finger lickin’ flavour to Christiana, Manchester.

The doors to its newest restaurant opened on Sunday, November 24, welcoming its first customers.

This major investment by ROJ of approximately $220 million to construct the new restaurant, marks a significant milestone in the brand’s continued expansion across Jamaica, creating 40 new jobs
and boosting the local economy. With this new addition, KFC’s restaurant network grows to 41 locations islandwide.

ROJ says it remains committed to supporting rural communities, with the Christiana location
becoming the 27th restaurant outside of the Kingston Metropolitan Area. This expansion aligns with KFC’s ongoing strategy to bring its beloved quick-service experience to more Jamaicans, especially in rural areas, while driving economic growth in these communities.

We are especially excited to create job opportunities for residents in and around the area.”

“Our expansion into Christiana is a testament to our commitment to investing in local communities and making our delicious meals accessible to Jamaicans everywhere. We are very excited to become an integral part of the Christiana community and already, the response and the welcome that we have received have been overwhelming,” he added.

Beyond its role as a quick-service restaurant, KFC plans to engage with and support the surrounding community through various initiatives, solidifying its position as a committed partner in the area’s development.
