Khalil Mack helped the Chargers secure a big win against his former team on Monday Night Football, but it came at a painful price.
The star pass rusher suffered a nasty arm injury in the first half while trying to bring down Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker—a collision with a teammate appeared to dislocate his elbow on impact.
Mack immediately exited the game, clutching his arm in visible pain, and was later spotted on the sidelines in a sling. He didn’t return, though he stayed to support his team as they rolled to a 20-9 victory.
As of now, his status remains unclear. Head coach Jim Harbaugh says further testing is needed to determine the severity of the injury. The Chargers, off to a strong 2-0 start, face the Broncos next on Sunday.
