Just when you thought Kim Kardashian had pushed the envelope as far as it could go, she yanks it wide open with…a furry thong.

Yes, really. Skims, Kardashian’s shapewear empire, released what might be its most head-turning product to date: a mesh thong covered in synthetic pubic hair. Dubbed ‘The Ultimate Bush’, this $32 panty went on sale October 14 and vanished from shelves within 24 hours. Fans (or those just curious) can now join a waitlist to be notified when their preferred size and style returns.

Available in 12 colour-and-texture combos such as clay blonde straight, sienna ginger straight, and cocoa black curly, the thong features a super sheer, stretchy mesh base with what can only be described as a full-on faux crotch wig. Skims calls it its “most daring panty yet,” and sizes range from XXS to 4X. The product description cheekily promises: “Now your carpet can be whatever colour you want it to be.” Because what is life without options?

Predictably, the internet exploded. Some applauded the absurdity. Others were less amused.

“All jokes aside, it’s wild watching every part of the female body get turned into a product,” one user posted, frustrated by the full circle irony. “First, they told us to wax it all off, now they’re selling it back to us.”

Another added, “Skims’ new bush panties can’t hurt me if they’re just a joke, right? … Right?”

But not everyone is mad. One TikToker gleefully claimed to have bought five versions and plans to wear one under a sheer white dress to her office’s end-of-year party. HR is not ready.

As always, Kardashian is doing what she does best, keeping people talking and buying. Beyond thongs with attitude, she’s been busy behind the scenes too. Earlier this year, she folded her skincare line, SKKN by Kim, under the Skims umbrella, tightening her grip on both your top shelf and your top drawer.

What’s next? No one knows. But with Kim, just assume the answer is weirder.
