Reggae artiste Gramps Morgan has joined Stephen Marley and Buju Banton’s Roots and Rhymes summer tour.

Gramps is scheduled to perform on twelve shows, beginning on June 26 and ending on July 18.

Gramps said,  It is a very big deal to me, knowing that I get to share a stage with two of my music brothers. We’ve always dreamt of doing a tour like this, but it is also a little bittersweet because I wish my brother (Peetah Morgan) was here to share this moment, and it would even be stronger doing the tour as Morgan Heritage and my brother singing the lead vocals but I know he’s watching down and smiling and will be enjoying many of the shows as we all share a stage together — three families: Marley, Myrie and Morgan.”

The tour will visit cities including Bethel and Elmont in New York, Cincinnati in Ohio, Boston, Massachusetts, Bridgeport, Connecticut, Dallas, Texas, Huntsville, Alabama, Detroit, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois.

While he will be sharing the stage with Banton and Marley, Gramps will also be headlining his very own solo No Water in My Whiskey tour.

“I will also be doing a show of my own on July 4, which will be a day off for everyone else in Kansas City.  Missouri is where that show will take place, then I move on with my family, Morgan Heritage, to Reggae Land in the UK, performing on August 1, then I continue on with four more shows in the UK and then close out in Amsterdam at Reggae Lake on August 15.  Later in the fall, I have a few more dates, including the West Coast in the United States,” Morgan shared.
