PAC Kingston Airport Limited (PACKAL), operator of the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA), has confirmed that the airport remains open, at this time, based on the latest bulletin on Tropical Storm Melissa, released by the Meteorological Service of Jamaica on Friday (October 24).

Airport officials have been monitoring and preparing for the storm.

In the meantime, PACKAL urged passengers to stay updated with advisories from their respective airlines and make any adjustments to their reservations before travelling to the airport.

The safety and well-being of passengers and airport workers are being prioritised, and updates on airport operations will be communicated via its official social media channels or through the press.
