The New York Knicks finally ended their four-game skid by destroying their city rivals, the Brooklyn Nets, 120-66.

The 54-point gap is the largest victory margin in Knicks history, surpassing previous bests of 48 points recorded in 1968, 1972 and 1994. It was a stunning turnaround after a rough stretch that ended with a 114-97 loss to Dallas earlier in the week.

Playing at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks set the tone early, racing to a 38-20 lead by the end of the first quarter. The gap only widened from there, ballooning to as many as 59 points as Brooklyn struggled to find any rhythm.

Jalen Brunson led the charge with 20 points, helping steady the team as they head toward the midpoint of the season.

The win keeps New York firmly in third place in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics.
