The Ministry of Health and Wellness has showcased the newly refurbished Accident and Emergency waiting area at the Kingston Public Hospital (KHP).
The renovations were funded by the National Health Fund, and completed under the Compassionate Care Programme, which seeks to enhance basic infrastructure at hospital waiting areas, improve customer service and boost volunteerism.
Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton posted a video of the renovations on his Twitter account today (November 22), stating that “patients can now wait in comfort with customer service reps and renovated bathroom facilities.”
He added that there are bigger plans ahead for KPH.
