Leoda Bradshaw, long-time partner of Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell, who was charged last year with the murder of Toshyna Patterson and her 10-month-old child Sarayah Paulwell, is set to return to court on June 13.

Bradshaw, alongside co-accused Roland Lloyd Balford, Rushane Miller and Richard Brown, was remanded on Wednesday (March 6), following a case management hearing.

The prosecution is seeking the death penalty on David Smith, the man who allegedly pulled the trigger to kill the mother and daughter.

The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Paula Llewelyn reportedly read the request during Wednesday’s court proceedings.

Reports are that Smith sent photos of the mother and child to Bradshaw at her request after committing the murder.

Smith was charged in January in connection to the murder of the mother and daughter. Smith and Bradshaw are among five people charged with the abduction and murder of 10-month-old Sarayah Paulwell and her mother, Toshyna Patterson, on September 9, 2023.

The mother and daughter were reportedly last seen standing at the gate of their Gilmour Drive premises in St Andrew around 7:00 am.
