Lifespan Co Ltd, Jamaica’s leading provider of premium bottled water, continued its sponsorship of the Strike Star Entertainment 3rd Annual Screenwriters Workshop, held at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts this week.

For the third year running, Lifespan Co Ltd has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing local creative talent by providing essential hydration for all participants throughout the two-day workshop. In addition, Lifespan sponsored the attendance of 10 aspiring screenwriters, giving them the invaluable opportunity to learn directly from Hollywood and international celebrities who led training sessions for Jamaica’s next generation of storytellers.

The screenwriting workshops are an educational charity event, started in 2023 with the late Paul Eckstein, to create opportunities for the local aspiring and inspiring youth of the industry and hopefuls.

This year the workshops commemorate Eckstein, his dreams and memories, “by returning once again and making sure the seeds of all of our work continue to grow”.
