CEO ranks #70 on Businessuite Women’s 2026 Power & Influence 100 list

Nearly two decades after founding Lifespan Company Limited, Nayana Williams’ years of perseverance, purpose-driven leadership and commitment to improving health and wellness through quality hydration have earned the Founder and Chief Executive Officer a place among Jamaica’s most influential female leaders, securing the No. 70 spot on Businessuite Women’s 2026 Power & Influence 100 list.

The recognition celebrates women whose leadership and contributions continue to shape business, industry and national development and marks a significant milestone for both Williams and the Jamaican-owned company she has helped grow into one of the country’s trusted names in hydration.

Founded in 2005, Lifespan Company Limited has provided naturally alkaline spring water sourced from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica for 21 years, while expanding its operations, strengthening its supply chain and creating employment opportunities for more than 150 employees, cementing its position as one of the country’s trusted names in hydration.

For Williams, the recognition represents more than a personal achievement.

“Being ranked #70 on Businessuite Women’s 2026 Power & Influence 100 is both a personal validation of years of hard work and a professional invitation to amplify Lifespan’s impact across Jamaica,” she said.

According to Williams, the honour reflects the dedication of a diverse, mission-driven team and years of commitment to quality, strategic partnerships and improving health through access to high-quality hydration.

Under her leadership, Lifespan has expanded its reach, strengthened its supply chain and deepened its commitment to community wellness. Among the achievements she is most proud of is increasing access to high-quality hydration for underserved communities and fostering a people-first culture throughout the organisation.

“Our aim is to boost public health awareness, create local jobs, grow regional suppliers and support national resilience by aligning with health, education and community wellness initiatives, while advancing female leadership,” Williams said.

She noted that the recognition also affirms the trust consumers and stakeholders have placed in the brand over the years.

“This recognition reflects Lifespan’s credibility, relevance and commitment to quality and impact, and it fuels our ambition to innovate and expand our reach,” she added.

Beyond celebrating the achievement, Williams hopes her journey will inspire more women to pursue entrepreneurship and leadership.

“My message to aspiring female entrepreneurs is to lead with purpose, invest in people, stay resilient and build collaborations that turn vision into real, positive change for communities,” she said.

Looking ahead, Williams said she hopes to build a legacy that extends beyond business success.

“The legacy I wish to leave behind is a trusted Lifespan brand known for quality and health impact, a strong platform for women’s leadership in Jamaica, and a sustainable model that uplifts communities for generations to come,” she said.

Founded in 2005, Lifespan Company Limited is a Jamaican manufacturer of naturally alkaline spring water sourced from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. Through its Lifespan Spring Water brand, the company remains committed to providing quality hydration solutions for homes, businesses and communities while promoting wellness, sustainability and innovation.
