Lifespan Spring Water had stepped forward to support recovery efforts through critical water donations in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, which left several communities across western Jamaica in urgent need of relief.

Recognising that access to clean drinking water is among the most pressing needs, Lifespan has collaborated with Rotary Jamaica to fill and distribute hundreds of gallons of water to hard-hit communities in Negril and Savanna-la-Mar.

The initiative is being spearheaded by Rotary assistant governor Peta-Gaye Pryce, who coordinated efforts among her nest of clubs across the island. Clubs in less-affected areas mobilised quickly, delivering food, hygiene supplies, and water to those impacted.

In response to the urgent call for water, Lifespan opened its Buff Bay plant to fill Rotary’s gallon-and-a-half containers, ensuring families in the west received clean, safe drinking water.

In addition to its partnership with Rotary, Lifespan also donated 50 cases of five-gallon bottled water to Dream Entertainment in support of their hurricane relief drive, extending the company’s reach to more communities in need.
