‘Lift Up Downs’ concert to shine hope for special needs community

The Jamaica Down Syndrome Foundation (JDSF) promises an unforgettable night of entertainment at the upcoming staging of its Lift Up Downs benefit concert on Sunday (March 26).

Being held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in St Andrew, the annual fundraiser aims to celebrate the resilience of the special needs community.

All proceeds from Lift Up Downs will go towards continuing the JDSF’s mission of promoting awareness and providing support to individuals with special needs in Jamaica.

Kicking off at 4:00 pm, the benefit concert features performances by Laa Lee, Pastor Stephen Blake, Dwight Richards & Friends and many other talented entertainers from the special needs community.

Lift Up Downs will provide a platform for these performers to express themselves in an atmosphere of acceptance, inclusion and pride.

Media personality Dr Terri Karelle Reid will be event host, while ZJ Sparks will be in charge of the turntables.

Tickets are J$2,500 and are available at Unit 9, 1 Stanton Terrace in St Andrew and caribtix.com.
