Jamaican reggae songstress Lila Ike has teamed with dancehall artiste Skillibeng to create another hit with the remix to Thy Will.
The single was released February 18 on all social platforms.
Thy Will was produced by musical creatives with a social media presence on platforms like Instagram – @protoje, @iotosh, @jllprod, @difieldmarshal and @the_denni.
The single was mixed by @professionalnoisemaker and directed by @nickiikane.
The local creatives behind the aesthetics of the single included Lindsey Lodenquai, Jodian Leonie and Alziclio.

Along with the official release of the audio, the music video was made public on Tuesday (February 23).
According to Lila Ike, the production is considered a “very crucial song in these times”.
She also expressed gratitude to Skillibeng who featured on the single.
“Very thankful and impressed with @skillbeng contribution to this chune.”
Today (February 26) marks another step in what Lila Ike calls her “magical journey” with Protoje releasing his remix to In Bloom, which features her and is titled Still Blooming.

Still in Bloom was remixed by @izyareyoukiddingme and is a by-product of Protoje’s In Search Of lost time album.
Lila Ike is a great addition to In Bloom.
Her soothing voice fits well with Protoje’s diverse-rap lyrics.
Lila Ike, born Alecia Grey, is from Manchester, Jamaica.
After initially pursuing a traditional education in business at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) in her home parish, she would find herself on a musical journey in the entertainment industry.
Leaving NCU in 2015, where she two years earlier enrolled to study business and literacy, she later attended the University of the West Indies where she studied Linguistics before discontinuing her programme.
Speaking with The Jamaica Observer in 2019, Aike said: “I didn’t decide to stop school… . I was very stressed out when I couldn’t afford to do school.”
EXPLORING HER MUSICAL TALENTS
Her tenure ended at the institution despite her interest in academics; creating a path for her to explore her musical talents.
“It wasn’t something I decided to do… it just happened. Outside of going to school and working, I used to do a little jam session and hol’ a vibe. Before I knew it, I’m meeting all sorta people who were interested in working with me on a professional level, so I indulged.”
She officially became a recording artiste in 2017 when she signed with Protoje’s In Digg Nation label.
In 2019, she toured Europe and opened for Protoje on his United States tour.
In 2020, she released her first album, The ExPerience, which included singles such as Gotti Gotti (2017), Second Chance (2018), and Where I’m Coming From (2019).
Today, Lila Ike is considered one of Jamaica’s most promising reggae artistes, alongside Koffee, Chronixx and Protoje.
