Saint Lucia’s Lyndon Cooper is making history again.

Already the first Saint Lucian to lead the Caribbean Football Union, Cooper has now been elected Vice President of CONCACAF for the Caribbean, earning the role unopposed at the organisation’s 41st Congress in Nicaragua.

Cooper has been a fixture in Caribbean football for years, serving 13 years as CFU vice president before taking the top spot in March 2025.

He succeeded Barbados’ Randy Harris, who moved on to the FIFA Council.
