Pop icon Madonna has been romantically linked to 28-year-old Akeem Morris, a Jamaican from Spanish Town.

The 66-year-old pop superstar recently revealed her new relationship with Morris following her split from her ex-boyfriend, boxer Josh Popper, who was 36 years her junior, just months earlier.

Since July, Madonna has been flaunting her new beau on her social media, posting pictures of the two in suggestive photos and others simply showing the Like A Virgin singer enjoying herself.

Morris moved to New York for college, attending Stony Brook University. He played football during school and then for the Oyster Bay United FC, a premier league team.

Their relationship has sparked rumours of Morris’s intentions and whether or not he is in the unconventional union for all the right reasons.

According to DailyMail.com, her relationship has raised concerns about the Jamaican-born’s intentions after the football player’s ex previously accused him of cheating on her with Madonna.

“Her friends thought that she was over dating younger men, but she clearly isn’t and no one trusts Akeem,” said the source according to Daily Mail.

”They want Madonna to be happy but she has to know that these guys, who are less than half her age, are not in it for love.”

Their age difference and public appearances together have drawn significant media interest, highlighting Madonna as a “cougar” amongst her superstar colleagues, like Cher (78) who is currently dating Alexander Edwards (38).

Madonna’s oldest child Lourdes Leon is 27 years old.

Neither Madonna nor Morris have confirmed their relationship, but the posts on their social media have sparked dating rumours that have further fanned the flames of her tendency to date younger men.
