Magna Motors Limited, the exclusive distributor of Hyundai in Jamaica, welcomed specially invited guests to a private first-look preview of the all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade on December 6 at its flagship showroom in New Kingston.
The elegant evening offered an intimate introduction to the refreshed design and elevated sophistication of Hyundai’s flagship SUV.
The event brought together notable Jamaicans from the business, entertainment, and sporting communities, including track and field icon Asafa Powell and his wife, Alyshia Powell; reggae/dancehall artiste and Hyundai Jamaica ambassador Christopher Martin; managing director of Dream Entertainment, Scott Dunn; and noted pollster Don Anderson. Members of the Magna Motors staff, leadership and sales teams were also in attendance.

Guests experienced the 2026 Palisade up close, observing its updated exterior design, refined interior accents, and enhanced suite of intelligent driver-support technologies. The preview showcased how Hyundai continues to evolve its approach to comfort, capability and safety while maintaining the confident presence that the Palisade has become known for.
A highlight of the evening was the official presentation of the first 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy purchased in Jamaica.
Alwyn Wynter and his wife received the keys to their SUV during a special handover ceremony.

Speaking about his decision, Wynter shared, “We were looking for a family vehicle with space and comfort for seven seats. We compared several options, and based on our research, the Palisade rose to the top. It just has a lot of features that other vehicles in its class are missing. We reached out to Hyundai, and the support from the team was excellent. That made the decision even easier.”
Carla Hollingsworth, marketing manager at Magna Motors, noted that the preview reflected the company’s continued commitment to offering meaningful experiences to Jamaican customers.
“Events like this allow us to connect directly with the people who place their trust in the Hyundai brand. The Palisade represents a careful balance of design, practicality and thoughtful technology, and we are pleased that guests were able to experience it in a setting that matches the vehicle’s character,” she stated.
Sales manager Lij Keith highlighted the significance of the model within the local market.

“The Palisade has always stood out among families and professionals who require comfort and confidence on the road. The 2026 model builds on that reputation with subtle but important refinements. We are proud to introduce it to Jamaica and equally proud of the relationships that make occasions like this possible,” he said.
Throughout the evening, guests were invited to explore key enhancements to the model, including its more sculpted exterior lines, updated lighting design, advanced transmission refinements for smoother performance, and integrated safety technologies intended to support drivers in a wider range of conditions.

These features were presented as part of the broader story of Hyundai’s ongoing approach to progressive mobility.
