Major ammunition seizure in Savanna-la-Mar

Several rounds of ammunition was seized during a targeted raid in Savanna-la-Mar by law enforcers yesterday (May 26).

The raid took place on Segree Street in the Westmoreland capital.

Reports are that between 12 noon and 1pm, law enforcers searched an abandon motorcar in the area and found 86 5.56 cartridges, 49 9mm cartridges, 10 twelve gauge cartridges, five .38 rounds of ammunition and one M16 magazine.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
