Man in custody after illegal gun, ammo found in Duckenfield

A .45 semi-automatic pistol, along with a magazine containing six .45 cartridges, was recovered in an operation in Duckenfield, St Thomas, this morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Oniel Thompson, head of operations for the St Thomas police, said two 12-gauge cartridges were also recovered during the search of the house located in an area called J-Nash Corner.
One man was taken into custody. However, his identity has not yet been revealed by the police.
