Davian Brown, one of three wanted men listed by the St Elizabeth police, has turned himself in for the December 8, 2023 murder of Lennox Leachman in Union district, Balaclava.
He was subsequently charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and using a firearm to commit a felony when he appeared at the Black River Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) on Tuesday, January 9.
Reports are that Leachman was among patrons at a party in the area when he was approached by gunmen who opened gunfire. He was injured during the attack and taken to the hospital, where he died while being treated.
The authorities have asked the other two gunmen wanted in connection to the murder, Romario Knight, otherwise called ‘Maro’, and a man only known as ‘Not Nice’, to turn themselves in immediately.
