Marketing Plus Communications Limited has copped Innovation in Business Magazine’s ‘Best Full-Service Marketing and Advertising Agency’ award for 2024.
The international recognition was bestowed on the twenty-six-year-old advertising agency and other small international advertising agencies.
Marketing Plus has, over the years, copped other awards in different categories, but none more significant than an award for innovation, as a Caribbean agency, in the emerging digital era.
Speaking to this significant milestone, managing director Kingsley Morris said: “This international recognition speaks volumes of the work of the agency and its impact on the local and international landscape.”
He continued: “It also speaks volumes to the future of the business and its offerings to its clients.”
Marketing Plus has made significant strides in integrating technological advancements, including monitoring, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital programmatic media buying into its DNA, providing measurable targeted results. It also continues to roll out solutions through the use of evolving technologies and proven tools of international repute.

Damion Mitchell, the visionary director of operations and creative, puts it best: “We’re not just another agency: we’re a dynamic force committed to nurturing both our team and our clients. Our strategic embrace of technology isn’t just about staying ahead; it’s about amplifying our creativity and elevating our service standards as we journey toward innovation and excellence and push boundaries to redefine success.”
For Morris, given the right tools Jamaica has the talent and the agency pool to serve a much bigger market than our borders. He suggested the industry be a “nurtured and encouraged service industry in Jamaica.”
“Our dynamic country has produced many strategic marketing minds, but how do we serve a diverse audience? What counts is the endearment of a product or service and the value it offers to each person. Today we can track these funnels of interest and reach them with the right investment and inputs. That’s providing solutions.
Morris is also the current president of the Advertising Agencies Association of Jamaica (AAAJ), having also held the post from 2015 to 2018.

The MarTech Awards, which emanates from the United Kingdom, celebrate companies that have used innovation to elevate “products or services, improve customer experience and engagement, and introduce new ways to boost brand presence in highly competitive markets.”
It said: “Our award winners are continually enriching modern digital marketing practices and providing advanced solutions.”
“Recognising their excellence, our MarTech Awards 2024 delves deeper into the unique offerings of those innovating and fuelling their industry,” IBM said.
Commenting on the achievements of this year’s awardees, awards coordinator Jack Ford said: “This programme marks milestones for our winners as we commemorate their success. I want to personally wish them all the best for the future ahead as we continue to see them nourish their teams, offerings, and clients.”
