Since the start of their relationship three years ago, popular social media power couple Shanzi and Nino have weaseled their way into the hearts of many Jamaicans.

After years of romantic dates, cutesy baecations and regular partner appreciation posts, the pair have finally taken their relationship to the next level.

Taking the advice of American singer Beyonce, Nino, whose real name is Jermaule Adair, finally decided to “put a ring on it”.

The proposal came during a night of celebration in Las Vegas for his now fiancée, Shanzi, born Shanice Allen, whose birthday was on October 31.

Overcome with emotion and happiness no doubt, Allen immediately took to Instagram to share with her more than 800,000 followers that, following the big question, she said “YES”.

“Issa Birthday Fiancée!!!!!, ” wrote Allen in the post. “I couldn’t wait on the professional pics me frighten bad *laughing emojis* I love you my fiancé @nino_tns *heart emojis* #isaidyes.”

The couple’s engagement has already amassed a number of congratulatory messages and well wishes from fans and friends including the likes of Jamaican artistes and fellow social media influencers.

Dancehall artiste Shenseea expressed her congratulations writing “Well done!! I am so happy for you guys,” and singer Denyque wrote “Eek! Congratsssssss mama! So happy for you guys!”.

YouTuber Tanaania exclaimed, “Congratulations hun! Wishing you both a beautiful and happy life together!” and media personality Yendi Phillips stated, “Congratulations!!!!!!! Birthday Blessings mama!!!”.
