Brokerage company Mayberry Investments Limited recently donated J$10 million to the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica’s (PSOJ) Project STAR social intervention initiative.

The donation was committed by Mayberry executive chairman Christopher Berry and CEO Gary Peart. Project STAR is a joint endeavor by the PSOJ and the Jamaica Constabulary Force, which aims to bring about meaningful change in Jamaican society.

Focused on underserved Jamaican regions, he drive behind PSOJ’s efforts in seeing Project STAR through stems from concern for youth, particularly young women, impacted by eroded moral values compounded by unfavourable environmental conditions.

Striving to reach even one individual, Project STAR values initiating change. Structured sessions and curated programs have addressed these challenges successfully.

It is this dedication propels Project STAR commitment to collaboration with stakeholders including children, parents and social groups.
