Mayberry Investments fuels future of Jamaican bodybuilding with continued sponsorship

The Jamaica Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (JABBFA) officially launched the 2024 National Senior Championships in Kingston on Tuesday, setting the stage for another highly anticipated season in Jamaican bodybuilding.

This year’s championships promise to be the most exciting yet, thanks to continued support from Mayberry Investments and the ongoing partnership with the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA), ensuring a top-tier event for both athletes and fans.

Celebrating its third year as the title sponsor, Mayberry Investments reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the sport of bodybuilding in Jamaica. “We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the JABBFA National Senior Championships. Mayberry has always been committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to national development, and sports is one of the most powerful platforms to achieve this. Our partnership with JABBFA is not just about supporting athletes on their fitness journeys but about promoting health, discipline, and excellence within our community,” said Damian Whylie, general manager of Asset Management, Mayberry Investments Limited.

Adding further significance to this year’s event is the Jamaica Olympic Association, partnering with JABBFA. This collaboration opens new doors for Jamaican bodybuilders to represent the nation at major international competitions. JABBFA President Audrey Allwood expressed excitement for the upcoming season, highlighting the increased opportunities for athletes. “With the incredible support from Mayberry and the JOA, this year’s championships will be one of the most impactful yet. Our athletes have worked hard, and we are thrilled to provide a platform for them to showcase their talent and dedication.”

The 2024 JABBFA National Senior Championships will take place on Saturday, September 28, at the AC Hotel starting at 7pm, bringing together the best bodybuilding and fitness competitors from across Jamaica.

The event promises to be a celebration of strength, discipline, and athleticism, with athletes vying for national titles and the opportunity to represent Jamaica internationally.
