MBJ redirects Sangster flights to Norman Manley airport

The managing company of Sangster International Airport (SIA), MBJ Airports Limited, has announced that it has started diverting flights to Kingston’s airport due to runway closure.

“MBJ advises that the runway at Sangster International Airport will be closed temporarily. Inbound flights will be diverted to NMIA. MBJ will advise once the runway reopens,” a post on Facebook outlined.

The company did not indicate a reason for the closure.
