Meghan Markle is stepping back into acting for the first time in seven years. 

The former Suits star was spotted on the set of Close Personal Friends on November 5 in Pasadena, California, where she is reportedly playing herself in a small role.

The film features a star-studded cast including Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding. Sources say Markle appeared relaxed and happy, enjoying her return to the set.

After her engagement to Prince Harry, Markle left Suits, where she played Rachel Zane for seven seasons. Since then, she’s turned down numerous acting offers, choosing this project as a gentle way to test the waters and see how she feels about being back in front of the camera.

Harry has been supportive of her decision. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the couple has settled in Montecito, California, raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, while balancing public life with personal projects.

This comeback will be Markle’s first foray back into acting while keeping her personal and family life front and centre.
