Lionel Messi guided Inter Miami into the MLS Cup final, setting up a showdown with Vancouver Whitecaps after both sides cruised through their conference finals.
Inter Miami tore apart New York City 5-1, with Messi slipping in a clever assist and Tadeo Allende stealing the spotlight with a brilliant hat trick as Miami claimed the Eastern Conference title.
On the other side, the Whitecaps powered past San Diego FC 3-1, led by former Germany star Thomas Müller, whose experience pushed them to the Western title.
Inter Miami will now host Vancouver on Saturday, 6 December, a historic night for both teams, each stepping into the MLS Cup final for the first time.
