The Mico University College suspended on-campus operations early today after issues with both electricity and water supply affected the institution’s facilities.
In a notice issued on behalf of President Dr Asburn Pinnock, the college advised that all offices were to close at 12:30 pm, and in-person classes scheduled for the remainder of the day were cancelled.
The administration said the decision was made due to inadequate electrical and water services on campus, which impacted the college’s ability to continue normal operations.
Students and staff were urged to make the necessary arrangements and to take precautions as the situation is addressed. The institution also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and thanked stakeholders for their understanding.
