MINI Jamaica has officially aligned with entrepreneur, carnival creative, and KYM Gym founder Kandi King in a vibrant new collaboration that captures MINI’s bold spirit, individuality, and playful energy.

The announcement was celebrated with the handover of keys to King’s new 2026 MINI John Cooper Works, marking the beginning of an exciting connection between one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands and one of Jamaica’s most dynamic multi-hyphenate personalities.

MINI Jamaica, represented locally by ATL Autobahn, brings the globally iconic MINI brand to Jamaican roads with a lineup that blends expressive design, spirited performance, and premium innovation. Known for its unmistakable personality and go-kart handling, MINI’s alignment with Kandi King felt instinctive from the start.

Recognised for her influence across carnival, fitness, entertainment, and lifestyle, King has long shared a genuine affinity with the brand. As a proud former MINI owner and longtime supporter of the Group’s initiatives, the collaboration marks an exciting new chapter for both sides.

Through the collaboration, King will bring the MINI lifestyle to life through content, events, and experiences shared across her growing personal platforms and the fast-rising KYM brand.

“Kandi represents the kind of bold individuality, confidence, and energy that MINI is known for,” said Kellise Wong, Group Marketing Manager at ATL Automotive. “She is entrepreneurial, creative, and deeply connected to modern Jamaican culture. We’re proud to welcome her back to the MINI family.”

For King, the collaboration carries deeper meaning following the loss of her previous MINI in a serious motor vehicle accident last year. While the vehicle was written off, her husband, Jesse Royal, who was driving at the time, survived the incident — reinforcing the importance of safety, quality engineering, and trust in the vehicle she drives.

“I’m really happy to be back in a MINI and back with the MINI family,” said King. “After losing my last MINI, safety became even more important to me, and I didn’t want to compromise on that. Beyond that, a MINI just fits my life. I’m always moving, always juggling business, family, fitness, and events, and it matches that energy perfectly.”

“Her influence across multiple audiences makes her an ideal fit for MINI’s personality-driven brand,” Wong added. “We can’t wait to see where she takes MINI next.”
