The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says citizens can expect varying degrees of cloudiness on Monday (February 7) as a trough shrouds the island.

The Met Service, in its 5:00 am daily forecast, indicated that while the trough dominates for the next several days, northeastern parishes may be affected by morning showers. It should be mainly sunny elsewhere.

These conditions will likely morph into widely scattered afternoon showers across eastern parishes and hilly areas, with partly cloudy skies in store for the other sections of the country.

The maximum temperature expected for cities Kingston and Montego Bay is 30 degrees Celcius.
