The Jamaica Meteorological Service says citizens can expect a mix of mostly sunny and partly cloudy conditions today (December 2), as a high-pressure ridge builds over much of the central Caribbean.
The Met Service, in its 5:00 am Saturday forecast, also noted the presence of a cold front which is straddling the western Gulf of Mexico.
Morning skies begin mostly sunny island-wide, before giving way to a balmy afternoon across Jamaica, with partly cloudy conditions across western parishes and hilly areas elsewhere. It should also be windy along the south coast.
The maximum temperature expected in major cities Kingston and Montego Bay is 32 and 31 degrees Celcius respectively.
