Mona School of Business and Management nominated for Jamaica Chamber of Commerce’s Best of Chamber Small Enterprise 2022

Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) has been nominated for the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce’s (JCC) “Best of Chamber Small Enterprise 2022”.   

The ‘Best of Chamber’ Awards are broken down into four categories; small/micro, medium, large and extra-large. In each of these categories, the award is granted to an outstanding member company that has met the highest level of performance and best practices in the areas of:

  • Corporate Leadership; 
  • Product & Service Quality, 
  • Human Resource Development, 
  • Marketing Innovation, 
  • Corporate Citizenship 
  • Sustained Growth

The other nominees in the “Small Enterprise” category are:

  • Esirom Limited
  • Jamaica Bauxite Mining Limited
  • Optimum Trading LimitedSanmerna Paper Products Limited

In order to be nominated, “Organisations must be active members of the Chamber, in good standing and have made significant contributions to the field through their programmes, initiatives and partnerships”. 

All nominees were presented with certificates at a media launch held on April 26, 2023. 

MSBM was first nominated in 2014 and subsequently won the category award. The School was again nominated in 2018.

The theme for this year’s Award is Resilience a Key Benchmark of Success” and the winner will be announced on May 31, 2023, at the JCC’s Annual Awards Banquet at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
