Authentic Jamaican spirit captured with Monymusk Rums at the Treasure Beach Food, Rum, and Reggae Festival

The inaugural Treasure Beach Food, Rum, and Reggae Festival, an extravaganza of flavours, sounds, and sights, successfully concluded last weekend in St Elizabeth, Jamaica.
This vibrant event, held in the picturesque locales of Jakes and Breds Sports Park, was marked by a special highlight – the presence and partnership of Monymusk Rums, Jamaica’s own treasure. From the sunset boat trip to the Pelican Bar that kicked off the festival on November 10, to the final chords of Luciano’s concert on November 12, the festival was a symphony of authentic Jamaican experiences.

Monymusk Rums, renowned for its exquisite range and deep-rooted Jamaican heritage, was not just a part of the festival; at its heart, it celebrated Jamaica’s spirit with every pour.
Kaydeon Thomas, trade marketing manager for Monymusk Rums, said: “Participating in the Treasure Beach Rum and Food Festival was a remarkable experience. It was the perfect platform to showcase what Monymusk Rums stands for – a blend of tradition and innovation rooted in authentic Jamaican culture.”

The festival showcased a series of events where the essence of Jamaica was on full display. Attendees savoured mouthwatering Jamaican cuisine from local favourites like Little Ochie and Flamin’ Wok while enjoying world-class reggae performances from Richie Spice, Jesse Royal, Protoje and Luciano.
Monymusk Rums elevated the experience by offering tastings of its premium and standard rum lines, including the crowd favourites – Mony Punch and Island Vybe cocktails. The Mony Punch, a mix of Monymusk White Overproof Rum with orange, pineapple, fruit punch juices, and ginger beer, was a festival standout, while the Island Vybe, blended Whispering Breeze with pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry juice, captured the essence of the Caribbean in a glass.

The festival was a celebration of rum and reggae and a showcase of the Jamaican way of life. With over 25 artisans and vendors, culinary showdowns, and the unique ‘SOC curry goat cricket matches’, it painted a picture of a community rich in culture and camaraderie.
Monymusk Rums’ participation at the Treasure Beach Rum Festival reflects its ongoing commitment to celebrating and sharing the authentic heritage of Jamaican rum. As the festival wrapped up, both locals and tourists left with a deeper appreciation for the Jamaican spirit – both in the culture and in the glass.
