Monymusk Plantation is encouraging revellers to engage with alcohol in an enjoyable and responsible way during the feteing season.
Speaking at the recently held University of Technology (UTech) Marketing Brand Expo, Marelle Wade, Monymusk Plantation brand officer, implored students to model responsible and safe drinking behaviours when participating in the various festivities.
UNDERSTAND YOUR DRINKING LIMIT
“What does ‘Drink Responsibly’ mean? It means eating before and or during drinking, appointing a designated driver or alternative modes of transportation instead of driving yourself, determining in advance not to exceed a set number of drinks, and of course, drinking plenty of water during drinks,” she explained.
“We want you to also consume alcohol responsibly. It’s very important that you understand your drink limit to ensure their ability to enjoy festivities at optimal levels.”
“With our flavour profiles, Monymusk is really the drink of choice for revellers. We want you to choose to create and enjoy these moments with Monymusk rums.”

The feteing season in the Caribbean began as early as January, but really culminates for Jamaica in April.
Monymusk will also run promotional activities on social media for party-goers during this season, including Soca starter pack giveaways, and highlighting ways in which consumers can practise responsible and safe drinking behaviours.
“With our flavour profiles, Monymusk is really the drink of choice for revellers. We want you to choose to create and enjoy these moments with Monymusk rums,” Wade enthused.
