Logan Paul, KSI, and MrBeast are facing scrutiny from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States over their new Lunchly product line, following reports of mouldy cheese and health complaints.

Lunchly is a brand of snack kits created and marketed by Lunchly LLC, launched in September. The kits come in three flavours—Pizza, Turkey Stack ‘Ems and Nachos—all contain one of MrBeast’s Feastable chocolate bars and a small bottle of Prime, Paul and KSI’s ‘hydration drink’.

As of Friday, October 25, more than ten consumers have lodged issues, with one case potentially linked to illness.

The FDA is currently reviewing these complaints and considering whether to issue a public health advisory. The agency emphasised that food producers must adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure product safety, warning that non-compliance could lead to serious repercussions.

The controversy ignited after influencer and Youtuber Rosanna Pansino discovered mould on the cheese in Lunchly’s pizza version during a review. Despite the backlash, representatives for Lunchly assert that all products undergo rigorous inspections and US Department of Agriculture approval before distribution.

Other reviewers have found mould on the cheese, noting the adhesive on the packaging was loose when they purchased their Lunchly.

Logan and KSI appeared unfazed by the criticism, dismissing it as a ploy for clicks during a recent episode of the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast.
