Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) is encouraging micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Jamaica to participate in the upcoming ‘Biz Zone’ scheduled for Tuesday, October 1.
The virtual event starts at 10:00 am and will facilitate a discussion on the topic ‘How Digital Technologies Can Boost Competitiveness’ led by CEO of GetPAID Suite, Leighton Campbell, who won 2019 JBDC BOSS Man of the Year.
According to JBDC, Campbell has extensive expertise in digital transformation. He will explore the critical role that digital tools and technologies can play in enhancing business operations, improving customer engagement, and increasing market access for local enterprises.

“MSMEs seeking to gain a competitive edge through digital transformation are encouraged to register before the September 30 deadline to secure their spot,” JBDC stated in a release.
The session will be facilitated on Zoom. For more information on the event, interested individuals should visit the JBDC website or contact the agency.
Biz Zone is one of the platforms the JBDC uses to foster growth and innovation among MSMEs, equipping them with practical strategies to remain competitive in today’s increasingly digitalised global marketplace.
