The newly renovated Sandals Royal Barbados has reopened boasting several new amenities costing several million dollars to complete.

Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International, Adam Stewart, who made the announcement, declared that the renovation represented another major investment by the Jamaican-based hotel chain in the Caribbean. Stewart in a post on his linked in page said, “my team and I utilized the time during the pandemic to grow, innovate, evolve and always view life through a future lens.”

The All-New Signature Tranquility Collection at Sandals Royal Barbados, which opened last week boasts a South Seas Village, which is home to 66 suites across Club and Butler level categories, including 11 swim-up suites.

Guests can indulge in the ultimate Caribbean retreat filled with custom amenities like aromatherapy systems, modern island furnishings, the Sandals Tranquility Blissful Bed, lavish spa-style bathrooms and private outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tubs.

According to the Sandals boss, “We’re not stopping there either! Marking a new era of mindful travel are two new wellness-inspired restaurants, two new tranquil pools and more. There’s nothing like it in Barbados.”

“Watch this space for more to come with a strong year of expansion, innovation, and most importantly, investing in the future of the #tourism industry and the Caribbean communities we call home,” Stewart advised.
