Kingston’s dynamic food scene has just welcomed a new player with the grand opening of Murray’s Fish and Jerk Hut Kingston at Di Lot at 33 Constant Spring Road.

Known for its bold and flavour-packed dishes, the Clarendon-based eatery has brought its renowned spice-infused meats and signature sauces to the capital, offering a rich culinary experience that is sure to excite food lovers. The launch event, sponsored by Red Stripe, was held on March 26 and saw an outpouring of support from foodies, industry insiders, and long-time fans eager to taste the new offerings.

Murray’s Kingston stays true to its roots while introducing new flavours crafted for the urban palate. Signature smoked and jerk meats are at the forefront, but the menu also features steamed, roasted, and vegetarian options to cater to a variety of dietary preferences. One standout dish is the signature curried goat, a crowd favourite that has been eagerly anticipated by locals and visitors alike.

Tiffany Murray, Managing Director of Murray’s Kingston, expressed her excitement about the expansion, “We decided to open in Kingston because we noticed a strong demand for our signature curry goat, especially from people travelling to Clarendon. After monitoring social media feedback and hearing from our customers, it became clear that Kingston was ready for Murray’s.”

In keeping with its bold brand identity, Murray’s Kingston proudly embraced the tagline “GOAT” on Wednesday evening, reinforcing its commitment to being the “Greatest of All Time”. Tiffany added, “We wanted to align our grand opening with Di Lot’s weekly GOAT-themed Wednesday events, which celebrate our beloved curried goat in a fun and engaging way. It’s the perfect match for our brand and the vibrant food culture in Kingston.”

Blending rustic charm with modern flair, Di Lot venue creates a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy great food, good vibes, and live entertainment. The location is quickly becoming a premier culinary destination, offering a diverse range of dining experiences in one dynamic space. With renowned restaurants like Plantation Smokehouse, Sharkies Seafood, and Dining with Curvy Diva Express already making their mark, Murray’s Fish and Jerk Hut now joins the lineup—solidifying its place among Kingston’s finest and proclaiming itself the home of the “Greatest Offerings Around Town.”

La Moya ‘Lami’ Hylton, a food influencer, shared her thoughts on the new location, “Murray’s finally being in Kingston is a game changer—I no longer have to drive far to enjoy their jerk. Pairing it with an ice-cold Red Stripe just makes it even better. But the real surprise for me was the curry chickpea—I haven’t stopped talking about it. The sauce was incredible, and everything was just perfect, especially the festival.”

Red Stripe, an integral partner in Murray’s Kingston’s launch, was the perfect pairing to complement the restaurant’s menu. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to enhancing Jamaica’s food culture. Arnaldo Martin, Red Stripe Junior Brand Manager, shared, “Murray’s has built a reputation for delivering exceptional flavour and quality, and we at Red Stripe are proud to be a part of their Kingston debut. This partnership is a natural fit, as both brands celebrate Jamaica’s rich culinary and social culture. We’re excited for guests to experience the perfect pairing of Murray’s bold dishes with our refreshing brews, enhancing every moment shared at this incredible new location.”
