Real estate industry veteran Nancy Sears has been appointed chief executive officer and chief operating officer for RE/MAX ELITE and UCC Real Estate Investment and Development Ltd (UCC REID), both of the UCC Group of Companies.

Dr Winston Adams, founder and executive chairman of the UCC Group of Companies, who made the announcement yesterday (January 14), welcomed Sears to her new positions.

The UCC Group said Sears is a dynamic and proven leader in the real estate industry, regionally and internationally.

“She has been in the industry since March 1985 and was the youngest female broker-owner in the Greater Toronto area in 1996,” the Group added.

“During her career of almost 37 years, she has accomplished many major milestones, including being ranked in the top 100 agents in 1988 for RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic. Ms Sears was also the manager of a Family Trust overseeing an office of many agents in 1992.”

As the broker/owner of Prudential First Realty in 1996, Sears led and managed five locations and 157 agents. She was also the director of business development for Prudential (franchise) for four years and executive director of business growth and development for RE/MAX Integra’s largest independent region of RE/MAX LLC for nine years.

Said the UCC Group: “Nancy has significant expertise in residential sales, land development and new home/residential construction and development. Currently, she is the director of business growth for REMAX Royal Properties, one of Canada’s growing brokerages. Helping people achieve their goals, building teams and growing real estate businesses is what she does best and she has trained, managed, and developed countless agents during her career.”

Sears is officially commences her new engagements at RE/MAX Elite and UCC REID this month and will be supported by a team of experienced real estate professionals at RE/MAX Elite & UCC REID as well as directors from two boards, including international performance consultant Tyrone Davids of EDI Enterprise Performance Group in Canada.
