NCB Jamaica appoints Ky-Ann Taylor as general counsel & corporate secretary

NCB Jamaica Limited has promoted Ky-Ann Taylor to the position of general counsel and head of the bank’s group legal and corporate services division effective August 1.

Ky-Ann, who has been a vital part of NCB Jamaica since 2017, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role. In her previous role as associate general counsel, the company disclosed that she demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing legal risks, supporting significant transactional matters, and leading a team of attorneys.

In her new role, Ky-Ann will report jointly to CEO Bruce Bowen and Dave Garcia, whose role as NCB Financial Group general counsel and corporate secretary now includes greater involvement with the Guardian Group. 

She will oversee the bank’s legal and corporate services division, ensuring the effective management of legal risks across NCBJ and its subsidiaries. Her promotion reflects Taylor’s dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to the bank.

Ky-Ann holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Arts aegree from the University of the West Indies, as well as a Legal Education Certificate of Merit from the Norman Manley Law School. She is also a certified mediator and has completed several professional development programmes.
