The National Commercial Bank (NCB) has announced the reopening of all its branches following the passage of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, which severely impacted communities across Jamaica.
In a statement to customers, the bank acknowledged the difficulties faced by households and businesses in recent days and assured of its commitment to supporting the nation’s recovery.
“We know this period has been challenging for many households and businesses. As our communities work towards normalcy, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to access banking services, whether in branch or online,” NCB said.
All NCB branches are now open, effective Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with updated operating hours. Kingston and St Andrew, St Catherine, Morant Bay, and May Pen: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm; Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. All other NCB branches: Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Friday: 9:00 am – 2:30 pm.
The bank reminded customers that online and mobile banking services remain available and encouraged those who can use digital platforms to do so. However, it assured that in-branch staff are ready to assist customers who may still face challenges accessing digital channels due to power or connectivity issues.
“We remain focused on serving you as we recover together,” the statement concluded.
