Euton Cummings, general manager of group human resources and facilities at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited, signs off on an agreement with Derrick Clarke (right), CEO of Tri-Star Engineering Co. Ltd., for the erection of a new digital branch in Port Maria, St Mary, which is just behind the existing branch.

A new, super modern facility in Port Maria, St Mary will not only provide more square footage for customers and employees to safely maintain physical distancing, it will also feature an expansive Bank on the Go area, where customers can access banking services 24/7 using NCB’s iABMs and Kiosks.

This new facility will also be more energy-efficient, utilising modern technologies such as LED lighting, solar power and more efficient cooling systems, as well built-in temperature monitors and sanitisation stations.

Advanced flood mitigation features have also been included in the design, and ramps will be installed to give disabled customers easy access to the facility.

NCB has invested a total of $372.1 million into the construction of the new Port Maria digital branch.
