JMMB Group has tapped Nerisha Farquharson to join its board of directors, the company announced, adding that the appointment is effective April 2.

Farquharson is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) with extensive experience and knowledge in private markets, financial risk, trading, portfolio and treasury management, investment and corporate strategy formulation and value chain optimization.

Currently, Farquharson is CEO of private capital at Proven Group, where she is responsible for managing the portfolio of private equity and private credit investments.

She holds a BBA in Finance (Hons.) along with an MBA in International Business (with distinction), from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Farquharson has been a CFA Charter Holder since 2012.
