Netflix premiered the first trailer for the teen drama Outer Banks on August 29.

This will be the show’s fourth season, which premiered on the streaming platform in April 2020. Season 4 will be split into 2 parts and the first 5 episodes will be released on October 10, subsequent episodes will drop on November 7.

John B, JJ, Pope, Kiara, Sarah, and Cleo embark on yet another treasure-hunting adventure. John B opens with “We finally did it. We finally found the gold.”

“That’s where the story should have ended. But really, it’s just the beginning.”

This is a direct call back after the season 3 finale where a gentleman called Wes Genrette proposed that the group of misfits find Blackbeard’s treasure. According to Netflix’s press release, season four will “take us back in time to the lead-up of that moment.”

Of course, keeping the theme consistent with all of their misadventures since season 1, the Pogues will encounter more enemies, question group dynamics and reflect on their sacrifices.
