Nevis Tourism appoints new marketing director

The Nevis Tourism Authority has appointed Phéon Jones as its director of sales and marketing.

He will lead the island’s new push for all markets with a particular focus on the North American market. 

Jones, who has more than 14 years of marketing experience, including as head of sales at CIBC FirstCaribbean Nevis.

“The goal is to continue showcasing the beautiful elements and unique events of our destination as well as diversify/expand our source markets.”

Jones previously served as senior marketing officer for the Bank of Nevis Limited, where he directly managed the bank’s marketing department brand, marketing presence and reputation. 

CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority, Devon Liburd in welcoming Jones as Director of Sales & Marketing for all markets said, “we are thrilled to welcome. The goal is to continue showcasing the beautiful elements and unique events of our destination as well as diversify/expand our source markets.”

According to him, Nevis is off to a strong start, with projections for a very successful 2023 for tourism.
