Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness has named his new junior ministers, which include some new faces such as ex-House Speaker Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert; Donovan and Delroy Williams, Rhoda Moy Crawford and Senator Abka Fitz-Henley.
In addition to the junior ministers, Senator Marlon Morgan has been appointed as parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Education. They will be sworn into office today by Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen at a ceremony at King’s House.
The list of 13 junior ministers was released early this morning.
The newly appointed ministers of state and their portfolios are:
· Kerensia Morrison: Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport
· Krystal Lee: Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness
· Delroy Williams: Minister of State in the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development
· Rhoda Moy Crawford: Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information
· Donovan Williams: Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security
· Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn: Minister of State in the Ministry of National Security and Peace
· Delano Seiveright: Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce
· Alando Terrelonge: Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade
· Zavia Mayne: Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service
· Frank Witter: Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining
· Tova Hamilton: Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism
· Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert: Minister of State in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs
· Senator Abka Fitz-Henley: Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister
